MUSIC LESSONS
FOR KIDS & teens

ABOUT US

iRock is a Sydney-based music studio for aspiring artists in primary and secondary school looking to advance their music skills and become a true rock legend!

We aim to bring the fun back to musical education, offering music lessons that complement the school curriculum, while also giving students the freedom to learn and play the songs they love.

Musical instruments we specialise in include guitar, piano, drums, bass and singing – to name just a few.

Once the basics of playing their instrument are learnt, our musos have the opportunity to join an iRock Band where they’ll meet new band mates, have fun, and get to experience life like a rock star.

We carefully place students into suitable bands for their age, ability and music style. There, they are guided towards fine-tuning their individual techniques, learning the skills required to play with others (performance, musicianship, stagecraft, harmonies, improvisation), how to jam, write music, and so much more!

Students have the option of joining an existing band or can form a new band where they’ll come up with a name, choose their set lists, and even compose their own songs. Senior students can also learn how to market their band’s performances using social media.

Each iRock band will rehearse weekly for one-hour under the supervision of our experienced music tutors. At the end of the term or school holiday band camp, iRock students also get the chance to perform songs in front of a cheering crowd!

WHAT OUR PARENTS HAVE TO SAY...

Victoria C.

Highly recommend these guys, a talented enthusiastic young team of professionals who connected with my son and brought out the best in him.

Toby was able recognise how my son learns and teach to his style – something only the best of teachers are able to do. The band is excited before every lesson, extremely chatty all the way home, and they look forward to practicing!

Dana D.

My 9 year old son just attended iRock school holiday camp and said “That was one of the best experiences of my life.”
